Introducing the “Pauline Tile Series”, an ensemble of 8 tiles in two distinctive styles unearthed from the basement and the muck of the floodwaters from the summer of 2023. Crafted a decade prior and subsequently forgotten, these tiles made their way into the daylight this summer.
This legacy collection is named after our Great Aunt Pauline who grew up in our Elm Street house. She left a treasure trove of possessions behind here a century ago, and we’re honored to reveal her past through objects, allowing them to bask in the light after a century of obscurity.
